Thoughtful medication management sometimes includes considering whether a medication is still needed, still helping, or still the best fit for you.
Follow-up appointments focus on monitoring progress, reviewing how you are feeling, and adjusting treatment when needed. If medication is part of your plan, we will evaluate how it is working and make thoughtful adjustments when appropriate.
Early in treatment, visits may be scheduled more frequently to provide support and closely monitor progress. As symptoms improve and stability increases, appointments typically become less frequent.
These visits are not only about medication. Time is also spent discussing how you are doing overall so that treatment remains connected to your daily life and goals.
Questions or concerns may come up between appointments, especially when beginning a new treatment plan. Patients are welcome to send non-urgent messages through the patient portal.
Messages are typically returned within 24–48 business hours, though the portal is not monitored continuously.
Because treatment decisions often benefit from thoughtful discussion, medication changes and most clinical questions are usually addressed during scheduled appointments.
This ongoing communication helps ensure that patients feel supported between visits and allows care to remain responsive as needs evolve.
If you are experiencing an urgent concern or emergency, please seek immediate care or contact local emergency services.
